Overview

In this written educational resource, staff director Jennifer Bakst details how director Indhu Rubasingham and the company worked together to bring The Great Wave to the stage.

Learning outcomes

This education resource will support students to understand the rehearsal room process.

Additionally, it will help students studying the play as part of a GCSE Drama course to understand the historical and cultural context of the play, as well as the challenges of staging it.
